Hampton United supports Hampton Hargate School's Big Picnic

Hampton United was proud to be part of the Hampton Hargate School Big Picnic on Saturday 13th June, where club volunteers helped deliver a hugely successful fundraising activity at the event.

Representing the club was our Chairman, Mark and his family, alongside an Under-11 Blues coach, Matt and two of our young goalkeepers, who generously gave up their Saturday to run Hampton United’s popular “Beat the Goalkeeper” challenge.

The stall proved to be very popular, attracting more than 200 participants over the course of just three hours. Children, parents and teachers all stepped up to test their shooting skills against our brave young keepers, creating plenty of fun, excitement and friendly competition throughout the afternoon.

Thanks to the fantastic support from everyone attending the picnic, the stall raised over £400 for Hampton Hargate School, making a significant contribution to the school’s fundraising efforts.

The event was a wonderful opportunity for Hampton United to strengthen its connection with the local community while showcasing the enthusiasm and dedication of our volunteers. Special thanks go to everyone who helped run the stall, particularly our two young goalkeepers who faced shot after shot with great determination and a smile on their faces.

Hampton United is committed to supporting local schools and community events, and we are delighted that our involvement helped make the Big Picnic such a memorable and successful day.
