Hampton United U15 Yellows Proudly Support Football v Homophobia Campaign

26 Feb 2026

#FvH2026

Hampton United U15 Yellows recently hosted a powerful and meaningful fixture as part of the Football v Homophobia Month of Action 2026, reinforcing the club’s commitment to making football a welcoming and inclusive space for all.

The designated #FvH2026 game saw players, coaches, and supporters come together not only for a competitive match, but to stand united against discrimination in football. The fixture was played against Leverington Sports Youth, whose players, coaches and supporters showed fantastic support for the campaign throughout.

In the lead-up to the game, the U15 Yellows squad were encouraged to learn about the importance of inclusion in football. On the day, the message was clear—football is for everyone, regardless of background, identity, or orientation.

We’re incredibly proud of our U15 Yellows for leading the way in supporting Football v Homophobia, and we thank Leverington Sports Youth for joining us in backing such an important message. Grassroots football plays a huge role in shaping young people, and it’s vital we create an environment where everyone feels safe, accepted, and able to enjoy the game.

The match itself was played in great spirit, reflecting the respect and unity that sit at the heart of both clubs and the wider campaign.

By hosting this event, Hampton United continues to demonstrate its dedication to not only developing players on the pitch, but also building a positive and inclusive football community off it.
